Salmon Excitement! 2024 Salmon Fishing Regulations are out, and for us, it's great news.

We are gearing up for salmon fishing season in Oregon, and there is great news!


With the projected regulations and our location, we are able to fish for Kings and Coho from June 22 through October! (King fishing is open now through October in the Ocean)

the Pacific Fishery Management Council (PFMC) recently announced its decisions for 2024, and here's what you need to know. The PFMC has set out the guidelines for the upcoming salmon seasons, but keep in mind that final approval is pending from the Secretary of Commerce and the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission.

Recreational Season Highlights:


North of Cape Falcon-

the all-salmon season will run from June 22 - September 30

(or until the mark-selective coho quota is reached)


Cape Falcon South to Humbug Mt.- the all-season Salmon will run from June 15th - Aug 18th

(or until the mark-selective coho quota is reached)


Chinook seasons along the central Oregon Coast opened on March 15 and will continue until October 31, with restrictions in October.


Recreational Chinook seasons from Humbug Mt. to the OR/CA Border will open on May 16 and continue through August 31.


Coho salmon seasons will vary based on location and quotas, with minimum lengths and bag limits specified for each area.
